Myron Feinstein has been doing commissioned portraits for many years. He frequently uses people who are not professional models and photographs them outdoors in natural light with a 35mm camera. For studio work with dancers and portraiture Myron prefers a Hasselblad medium format camera. Dancers are captured in the moment of greatest extension and tension and females young and old are always beautiful. Figure and body studies as well as children are always tastefully shot. The photographer is currently working on a photo monograph of women’s hair and glamor. Glamour poses during photo shoots are innovative and demure. Feinstein is well-known in New England, Connecticut and New York City and has won many artistic awards. The grace and style of the exotic models is always featured in his work. The key to a successful photo shoot is collaboration between the talent and the photographer. Of course, music helps; and drinks and food. Many models have never been photographed before and are amazed at how professional they look when framed and hung in a gallery. Both black and white and color have their place in the realm of art photography. Ordinary and outrageous poses and smooth skin can be used to bring interest to the subject.
